The Miracle League of Indian Trail

homerIt’s Hope, Determination, and a display of Human Spirit that is unequaled. And of course…there’s baseball.

The Miracle League of Indian Trail, NC, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit all-volunteer group committed to raising funds to build an accessible baseball field and playground in Crooked Creek Park for children, adults and veterans with disabilities.

Our rubberized surface removes barriers and allows everyone to experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime by accommodating wheelchairs, walkers and other assistive devices while helping to prevent injuries.

In an attempt to achieve our goal, we are seeking donations, sponsorships, and volunteers.

Become A Volunteer

Our goal is to raise a million dollars to construct these accessible, safe, and inclusive facilities.

We need your help to cross home plate.

We’re looking for volunteers who can serve on our fundraising, publicity, and special events committees; as well as an attorney, CPA and contractor to assist with our corporate tasks.

As we approach the building stage, we will eventually be recruiting volunteer coaches, umpires, announcers, and volunteer ‘buddies’ for the children’s league. Each child will have a ‘buddy’ escort them around the bases as their family sits in the stands and cheers them on to home plate.

A special Thank You goes out to The Hartford’s Charlotte Community Giving Committee for bestowing a $1,500.00 grant to our Miracle League of Indian Trail on December 16, 2015.

This donation will go a long way to helping us remove the barriers that prevent individuals with disabilities from playing baseball and recreating on a safe surface.
